Recommend me a cordless vacuum

I am in the habit of making a mess in the kitchen, leaving crumbs everywhere etc so thought I should invest in a handheld cordless vacuum.Nothing special,it won't have to pick up anything difficult like dog hairs etc...although I am at that age when some of my own hairs are disappearing more rapidly than I'd like !
I'd like it to be always ready for action so needs to be wall mountable and left on charge constantly.
Oh and under 50 quid preferably.
Any recommendations ?

I have one of the Aldi ones for when I am doing small DIY jobs and found it has better suction than the Dyson I had previously.Never Knowingly Understood.

I'm a Which subscriber, just checked and the cheapest cordless vacuum in the best buys is £199. If you want the details, let me know but I didn't know if you wanted to pay that much as it's not technically a cordless vacuum you need but a handheld one and it doesn't appear as if they have been tested.
ETA: I should have looked more thoroughly the first time round, they have tested handheld cleaners, the best buys range from £59 to over £200 and they were all tested last July (2015). If you want the details, let me know.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Bought one in Morrison last week for £42. It is Hoover Flexi Power SU204BR2 001. Bag less, cordless, foldable handle, light weight, good looking Hoover. Has good review online. Happy with it so far.0

Here you go:
Vax Gator H86-GA-P
Best Buy - 69%
Vax states that this reasonably priced Vax Gator Pet H86-GA-P is the perfect handheld vacuum cleaner for a household with pets. We put these claims to the test to see if it can really pick up pet hair, fine dust and large debris with ease.
Pros
Great for carpet, brilliant on hard floors, good choice for pet owners
Cons
No wall-mounted charger, is slow to pick up very large spills of cornflakes, not as easy to use as others
The Vax Gator Pet is so good at the basics that we have made it a Best Buy. It isn’t quite as easy to use as some more expensive models, but it’s brilliant on carpet, hard floor and pet hair, and is a genuine bargain.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
