    You put a 1st class stamp on it instead of using Freepost.
    Then you'll be sure it will arrive in 1>2 days ...
    or possibly 3 -> ...
    or maybe more ....... :rotfl:

    Royal Mail - Gawd bless em! ;)

    This is a policy I have used before however it seems to make little difference. Posted cheque 1st class Friday and it arrived today (Thursday) - what a waste of 34p + £9 in lost interest.

    In general the more use is made of second class postage the faster the second class postage will arrive. (i.e. Give the posties no first class mail at all and they have to start sorting/delivering the rest immediately) The logic of this that if everyone did the cheapest option (freepost/2nd class/no stamp!) it gets there no sooner or no later either. So the question then is: What does first class postage actually pay for - except for providing the obvious subvention to the PO workers pension fund?
