What time zone is your phone set to?

What date? Clocks changed from BST?

    Sorry Northlakes,

Didn't see this before I sent in my reply. I still sent in the Google maps evidence but they ruled that PE's evidence was more accurate.

They had pictures of a car, but my evidence didn't prove that I was in the car in question. Therefore it wasn't satisfactory. Thanks for everybody's help though. I was probably closer than I would have been otherwise.

    PE are dicks :(

Thanks for helping though guys. Looks like I'm going to have to take them to court

No, they'd have to take you, and you would defend it. Nothing to stop you emailing them and pointing out that they have no prospects of success in court and there are dozens of cases in the public domain where PE's ANPR has wrongfully defaulted to a first entry and last exit in one day. I would show them your evidence AGAIN and say you are aware the current POPLA Assessors are new and prone to significant errors, this being one such case.

If this were me I would rather be proactive and get involved in some robust email tennis than wait for them to send a LBCCC and churn you through the auto-pilot court attack procedure, one of hundreds per month. Make your case specific and difficult, encourage them to cancel this before court or you will consider their pursuit of it 'vexatious and unreasonable' and will seek full costs in the event that you win at the hearing. Make it sound like you know exactly what's involved and will be defending this to the end with the evidence already produced, plus any witness statement(s) from any passenger.

Also, the Parking Prankster takes an interest in PE double dip cases so you could email him.

  • Thanks for this, I'll start doing that now. I'll drop parking prankster an email too. I didn't realise he took a special interest in these sorts of cases.
