Same with Tepilo, found a property to view via RM, phoned the number on the advert to book a viewing only to be told we had to sign up via the website first.

Least with a highstreet agent you just call, book, turn up, bosh, done.

Haven't dealt with Tepilo before, but have booked via Purple Bricks before and found booking online really suited me personally. However, if your market are the older generation I can see that this then may be off putting. As far as I'm concerned, filling in my name etc. online to book a viewing is no more hassle than calling an EA and doing it all over the phone, and less hassle in some respects because it cuts out the "I'll call the vendor and check their availability then get back to you". When I booked to view a property online with purple bricks the availability is already set, just pick what time you want to view, done.

We sold via eMoov and you can either book online with them, and also call up and book over phone, so didn't find viewers had any issues. Actually so many of the people that viewed commented on liking being able to book viewing online 24/7, and dealing with EA open 7 days a week.

Having recently been to an open house with purple bricks, i have to say i have been impressed! it may be wort you having a look at how the advert looks on the site? yes price is a factor, but you have to look at whether the advert depicts the property to the full standard it is.

I would also say have a look and see if there are other property advertised on purple bricks in your area. if not, you may fin that people automatically look n move way due to lac of properties to view, in which case a local agent may be better.

I sold with Purple Bricks, and while they were overly optimistic about the price, I wasn't too bothered as I knew what I wanted. I just needed someone to show people around when I was working, and get it on Rightmove.

OP, it really sounds like you're just well over on price.

I'm buying through PurpleBricks and the booking process was a dream and I didn't have to deal with obnoxious EA trying to force me into using their financial guys.

I wouldn't worry about the website putting people off, quite the opposite.
    Dooyoo £10.40/40, TopCashBack £17.19/30, Valued Opinions 50p/£10, Swagbucks 0/£20, Ebay £15/£25

We are selling with eMoov but the property we're buying is with a high street EA. If only everyone sold with online agents. Now being forced to deal with a high street EA to buy after my experience with eMoov is just: :eek:
