Thank you Kah22 for the link. I did not know they were available.
I now just need to wait until they become available at a price I am prepared to pay.
That is probably just under £100.
I have added both to my Amazon wish list.

I have been using a misfit flash for the last month. I got it for £25 from Amazon and tbh it isn't worth the money so I would be tempted to push the boat out a bit further and get a fit bit or more respected brand like Polar.

My main issue is accuracy. My cycle to work is 3.2 miles and it says (depending where it is atatched to my body) that I have travelled either 2.1 or 1.8 miles. It does provide steps travelled however if I walk to work it still only recognises 2.3 miles or so.

I mentioned on another thread I bought this as a tester, so I could dip my toe in the ocean of fitness trackers and would definitely recommend going through with a more expensive purchase as the info you gain is a real motivator!

If it's a Fitbit your after you're after you might like to have a look at They have a few offers on the cheaper one.

I was lucky I bought a Fitbit Charge HD on Saturdat night with a 15% Boots discount code that I discovered while doing a search to find the cheapest supplier; unfortunately that discount died on the 11th

I did have a fitbit charge hr. It worked well but work meant I could no longer wear it at work and I was forevery forgetting to put it back on after washing up/showering.
Also it irritated my wrist, not sure if I am allergic or I just got hot though.
Anyway I swapped it for a fitbit one, clip it to my bra/ top and it stays on for the whole day ☺ . It's got a display so I don't have to check my phone either.
Fitbit do have a good app, easy to use as well.
:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly :D

I just got a Charge HR yesterday and I'm already in love. I love that it tracks everything, my sleep, heart rate, exercise calories, even how many times I've walked up the stairs in a day!

I'm in the same place at the moment, I'm like a little boy at Christmas who's got a new outdoor toy :j

There is one problem though that I'm still trying to solve. I've linked Fitbit to MyFitnessPal to get a better all round picture of where I'm at. While Fitbit is picking up data from MFP i.e what I've logged as eaten during the day; MFP is not picking up data from the Fitbit i.e. Calories burned by walking, climbing stairs etc. But I think that is a MFP problem. Anyone with the same problem and got a fix? To get maximum results from Fitbit there does seem to be a learning curve.

Anyway good luck with your Fitbit

I've had the Charge HR for a couple of months and love it. I do find the stair climbing counter thingy not very accurate tho! Word of warning....be careful not to let insect repellent with Deet anywhere near the screen as it will 'eat' it! Fortunately FitBit replaced the whole thing with no quibble much to my amazement! Fantastic customer service.

I have a sony smart band SWR10, it was around £30 counts steps, distance walked, cycling, and monitors movements in sleep.

It also vibrates when the phone rings or a message comes in (Depending on how you set it)

    It is waterproof for 30minutes

I have found it does eventually sync with MFP - it seems to be a bit more delayed but appears to be working for me now.
