Keep going Bellyburner you will win soon.
Concentrate on the comps with lots of prizes or the more unusual ones involving a bit of effort.
Everyone enters for holidays and ipads etc so look for low entry comps.

Some comps don't send out prizes until a month after the closing date , so one could be on the way to you.

I only do about 30 competitions a week but I have had 29 wins this year worth about £1,200 in total, well worth it for me :)

I think the key is not how much you comp, but how effectively you comp. I've only had c. 20 odd wins this year, but my win rate is roughly 1 in 40. How ? I comp smartly. I can't see the point of entering 500 comps a day, when the average win is about 1 in 1500...and that could be just a pencil sharpener.

That is really interesting. Can I ask do you find the competitions that you enter on MSE, or do you use another site, perhaps because of the purchases limit on MSE? If so, which other sites do you use? Two of my wins this year have been from effort comps and these are my preferred competitions, but I don't seem to find that many one MSE.

Mainly MSE...but other sites too. Effort = low entry, and it works for me. One of my big wins was an effort based purchase of a couple of Pounds. For me, it involves thinking outside the box. And if I can give one piece of advice to increase your chances of winning.....make 'em laugh.
  • I don't mean to sound like I am boasting because I am definitely not. I have won since the start of the year 120 prizes, i comp for about 2 hours at the most everyday, somedays i don't do any. Butility i always put effort into everything i do, for example no boring replies no sad stories. I always am uplifting and fun. Good luck everyone.
