That HP in the link looks cheap. Just check you can get cheap compatible cartridges before buying if you intend to print much.

£8 for regular & £18 for the xl on black

Seriously? Sending documents inside emails to printers? These technology companies need to stop pandering to idiots, they really do.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Handy for any device capable of creating an email to be able to print so simply.
Hopefully there would be some sort of password needed in each document otherwise spam could cause the pink ink to run out just like Twoflower's camera imp did.0 -
most Wifi prionters will have an "on-line" portal.
My HP printer can link to HPconnected.com and i can give it an email address
Like my HP5520 Printer/Scanner 's address : xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@hpeprint.com
(Changed, you had your chance!!) :P lol
Anything sent to that address will be printed (if it's in a compatible format).Laters

My partner desperately needed a document printed out from my computer but she has no idea of how to use my computer (several layers of security). At the time I just so happened to be in Cyprus on business and while I could have talked my partner through how to get at the document it was easier and quicker for me to access my cloud storage and email the document to my printer.
Secondly my partner uses a Blackberry playbook which does not have a driver for my printer but she can email a document from the Playbook to the printer.IITYYHTBMAD0 -

That's s really good point.
Does anyone have experience of these printers with email addresses that require a password (or some other prompt) to actually print.0 -
I know that my Samsung can print directly from email. It works the same way as the HP printers do, via the Samsung web portal. I haven't set this up as so far I haven't had a need for it.
Another option is to use Google Cloud print.
I haven't tried this either but Google claims it works with any network printer but that it works better with 'Cloud ready printers'.

It might be worth a look and save you having to buy a new printer, if by 'wired' you mean connected to the network via a network cable. If you mean connected via USB and your printer isn't network connected then it won't work. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
