Now two sellers on Ebay have told me that data sims don't work in normal phones!

I have the same 3 SIM. When I log on to my account and look at the plan details, it quotes calls to mobiles and landlines (UK) at 3p per minute and text messages at 10.2p per message.

I have no cash credit on the account, just the pre paid data, but guess it is quite possible to load credit for calls and texts.

I too am using it in a Moto G with no problems.

Thanks! OK, one more question and I'm just going to buy the 12 month SIM. Can it receive incoming calls even before I've put credit on it?

Yeah, just rang mine and sent it a text and it worked ok & i've not put any credit on it

Yes, my wife rang me on the 3 number when I was in town the other day.
