sky broadband deal - left them less than 12 months ago

but it says only for customers rejoining after more than 12 months after leaving - I left about 8 months ago
Do they actually enforce this minimum 12 months away ? - if so will I get the deal without the £100 voucher ?
If I go via topcashback how likely is it that the cashback will be denied for the same reason ?
