Who asked you? Who are you anyway?
Been on the forum 6 months I see.... 50 posts.0 -
An interesting sideline to this topic;
I pay my motorbike tax by monthly DD: The MOT actually ran out over the end of April / beginning of May whilst the bike was in my local garage waiting for a rear shock absorber to be built & delivered from Germany. MOT was carried out a couple of weeks ago, and I happily carried on riding.
I received a final demand for May's road tax without any prior contact from the DVLA, so I checked and they hadn't taken this month's payment: The DVLA database checks for a break in MOT & automatically cancels any recurring DD.. worth keeping an eye on if there's any break in your MOT.0 -
This thread got me worried. I have couple of motorbikes that has been off road for many years and used to send SORN every year.
I heard somewhere that SORN is no longer required so have not bothered since.
Am I going to get into trouble? :think:0 -

If you've SORN'd, you should be OK - it no longer 'renews' - from the DVLA;
'Your SORN lasts until you tax your vehicle again or it’s sold, scrapped or permanently exported. You don’t need to do anything to renew or remove a SORN.'
