Hi folks,
I'm looking to go to Milan during the beginning of July and have yet to sort out any currency, I was told that getting a travel spend card would be a good idea, I do not however have any previous credit score as I have never done anything to build one and thus am uncertain about the credit card options.
What would my best option be? should I try for a credit card or go with debit? alternatively do I just change gbp to euros locally?
While I'm on the topic is there anything that could both assist me with the travel exchange rates (a card or otherwise) and also assist in building such a credit score for the future? (as I'm 26 and would some day like to get my own place but apparently stand no chance without a good credit score?)
I've always just paid things in full most of the time as I have the savings to do so, so all of this credit stuff is fairly new to me.

It's wise not to rely on only one source of funds when traveling, so best to have a suitable prepaid card, some cash pounds to exchange if needed, and try for a useful credit card. See the relevant info:

Can't help you with cards, but exchange rate is around 1.25 euros for a £, so 5 euros = £4.00 approximately.0
