    I was looking outside of the UK and Ireland to be honest, Cornwall might be okay for a weekend away at a later stage but thanks for the suggestion.

    I have to say i find it easier to check around the online websites for deals rather than trawl around various travel agents.

    We've had some great breaks in Jersey, and also some damp ones! Like it there, can drink the water, eat the food and understand the money. No stress!

    After Thomas Cook results today showing a big fall in European travel there should be quite a few good deals going for last minute shoppers.

    This year I'll be lucky with a day trip to Portrush :(

    Just back from Barcelona with a few friends. We got return flight inc baggage with Easyjet for £119 and a 3 bed apartment on booking.com for £444 for 5 days.


    5 days for £267 each
