Paypal Account - Urgent advice needed

Hi all I sold an item on ebay on Monday and the buyer paid by instant payment?? no money has been credited to my account all on my paypal account on ebay it says completed the buyer has obviously become concerned as it is for tickets for next week but understandably i dont want to send these out until i have the payment in my account this is causing so much hassle as I am having to phone banks and check emails etc its turning into a nightmare (I am new to ebay to perhaps this is normal??):mad:

Could you clarify if you have logged on to paypal and checked there?

Be very careful. May possibly be a scam.

Do not send the tickets until you are sure you have the money. Do not take the buyers word for it that they have sent it until it is in your account.

Often scammers send dodgy paypal emails claiming the money has been sent. I am not saying your buyer is one of these, just be careful.

I have checked my account history to trace back the transaction, datde 4 sept status is complete and details states payment type instant with buyers name and address for postal.

Checked paypal account for account history, it is £1.50 per minute to call cant afford that unless someone has any other numbers I can call to contact paypal.

Are you saying you logged into your paypal account and withdrew the money on the 4th September?
If so it won't arrive in your bank account until Tuesdayish next week.
It takes 5 - 7 working days to get from paypal to your bank account.

It may seem a daft thing to say but if the money is in your paypal account did you know you have to withdraw it - it doesn't happen automatically. Sorry if you already knew that!:D

Can you be clearer on where you are looking and what it says on ebay AND on paypal account history.

If the money has cleared in Paypal, which from what I gather it has....then you must send the tickets. Like post 9 says it takes 5-7 days to clear in your bank account but it is not the done thing to allow the buyer to wait till such time, the money only has to show as being complete in paypal.
