Thank you so much I really appreciate the explanation lol I've only been driving 3 years so not exactly an expert in these things ;-)

I have had a look on the Newbies bit about this but still a bit confused as to whether to complain and send a letter or to just pay it. I have so many other things to think about at the moment!

Thank you again for your kind responses to me. It is much appreciated :-)

Where does the NEWBIES thread tell you to pay? It doesn't.

How can it be confusing? There is a simple template appeal (blue writing) to suit all cases to get a POPLA code - and the thread explains to call yourself the registered keeper. That's all you need to know to appeal, you go online and appeal to PE, NOW.

If you EVER shop at Morrisons or can borrow some receipts (or a Match & More card) from a friend who does shop at ANY branch, then email:

    donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk

because Morrisons are VERY good at cancelling these when they get customer complaints. Do so even if you can't get receipts, complain anyway about the harassment saying it has put you off ever shopping there in future (do not say what the occupants of the car were doing).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Morrisons seem to detest the mess they've got into, with in some places a FIVE YEAR contract with PE. So, in my experience, anyone who complains gets their PCN cancelled whether they have a receipt or not...

It is obvious that Morrisons have decided to cancel every one they can. All it takes is an email to the Head Office of Morrisons. :)

Of course, if Parking Eye were an ethical company, instead of a bunch of shysters, then they would publish this exemption on their notices.

What a hell of mess Morrisons are in

In the world of business Morrisons have some clout if they want to.

Pressure on government by the big boys could bring a change faster,

The scammers including Parking eye need their wings clipped.
THE SCAMMERS could be worse for business than Brexit
