..........
I am planning on Surprising my girlfriend, who is currently away working in Canada...............,
dangerous territory; I strongly suggest you forewarn her the day (or even a week) before you fly.
What happens if she's planned to surprise you, and is in the air when you get there? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

Haha this made me laugh!
You make a valid point, I wont be turning up on her doorstep without warning. I was thinking about giving her a week warning, so we hopefully shouldnt pass each other in the sky:rotfl:0 -

This looks like a great deal, I wonder if I made my way to London & not Manchester I would be able to save a little bit more0 -
Thanks everyone for all your help with this, I didn't expect this many replies - besides someone telling me to ask Google.
If anyone else finds anything it would be hugely appreciated as I wont be booking for another 2 weeks or so, after I've been paid.0 -
No, bizarrely and illogically, when I looked it's over £1000 for the same flights if you drop the MAN-LHR/LHR-MAN legs :huh:This looks like a great deal, I wonder if I made my way to London & not Manchester I would be able to save a little bit more
I had the same phenomenon with some flights I booked last month, flying to Bangor in Maine. I'd been looking at Dublin-Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Bangor and then returning Bangor-Philadelphia, Philadelphia-Heathrow. (I would have flown Stansted to Dublin the day before and stayed overnight at Premier Inn)
Bizarrely, and illogically, I found exactly the same flight but with an early morning Heathrow-Dublin flight tacked on the start was £110 cheaper than starting from Dublin, plus saved me the additional cost of getting to Dublin first!Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
