ENER-G Switch2 G6 gas meter question

Hi All,
I hope you are well and saved lots of money during my absence.
I have a rather silly question to anyone who has dealt with this XXII century gas meter.
How the heck to switch off the bright backlight on this thing?
I cannot see anything in the manual.
This meter due to this backlight on all the time eats substantial amount of electricity.
It is like a decent smartphone left with a backlight on 24/7 - the screen is more than warm.
I cannot see the reason for this backlight to be on.
Please advise.
Best regards
