Indeed. I have been trying to go on their website for the past couple of weeks (to check on the 200Mbps prices) but it's always been down.
Let's hope Maplin drops the prices on all their Homeplugs - I don't think many people know about their existance.0 -
Yes I could do with more speed G is very slow in our house even with pc in next room some 3-4 metres away with open doors (through lounge) and larger ariel for router and pc signal isnt the best.0

I have one Vesenet(3 port), one Solwise(single port) and 2 eConnect(single port) adapters, all 85Mbps.
I paid about £23.49 incl p&p each for the single port adapters from ShopMagenta in March this year.
The main reasons why I moved from Wifi are for security and speed.
Do they support encryption so that your neighbour on the same phase can't eavesdrop? What goes around - comes around0 -
From the manual:
Normally the electric meter forms a physical barrier, i.e. only devices connected to this meter
can be part of the network and benefit from the phase coupling. We strongly recommend that
you use the HomePlug Ethernet Adaptor internal device encryption.
