Arh. So the 2 DD need to come from different accounts.
That is why people need more than one TIS.

It's 2 direct debit mandates that are the important thing.

You can get 2 Direct Debits set up with one Tesco saver to the same account. You just need to set up a direct debit to an account twice typing in a different account nickname (e.g. Account No: 12345678, Account name: Mr J Bloggs, Account Nickname: BOS1a and Account No. 12345678, Account name: Mr J Bloggs, Account Nickname: BOS1b). Otherwise, it won't let you set up a 2nd direct debit with the same Tesco saver as it says you've already set that account up.

Do most people just do £1 or do you skim off the interest ?

I just do £1 and transfer interest manually.

We skim off the interest with the DD. I reckon at some point in the not too distant future Tesco will bring this to an abrupt end.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Me too, and don't say you haven't been warned...times many!

It's bad enough saying you can use them, but then people seem to want it explaining from the thread to the eye of the needle EXACTLY how you use them.

Personally, I'm so sure the facility will be pulled I've almost finished switching them away to another of my providers who offer the same multiple facility...but, crucially, it's one which isn't available to as many people.

And that's where it then gets really bad because even seasoned forumites actually oblige.

Opened one TIS today. It opened instantly.

How long should I wait to open a 2nd ?

Note to Self: Before the 18th

Can anyone remember when they opened more than one BOS account how they did it online?

We have 5 BOS Vantage accounts under one profile (can't remember how), but also a further one opened under a different profile, user name, so thought can I open 2 more under this other profile to the maximum 3.

So I log on to the single account and select current accounts and it suggests opening a second account might be useful.

So I start application, all goes well until I reach online banking page where it asks for username & Password, I am already logged in but it won't accept existing username or password and no option to ignore it?

Why doesn't the application recognise that I am logged in already?

Tried again later and now says according to our records you have recently applied for an account and cannot consider another at the moment.
