    Can't see how you can call your hobby a job, you need to get out and get a proper job and put this on the back burner. You aren't as talented as you have been led to believe otherwise you would be selling your work for a lot more money.

    Are you getting the disability element of working tax credits?

    If you are then you would only need to do 16 hrs a week to qualify for WTC and your earnings would not be far off the 16 x NMW if you spread outt your payments over the year.

    They are still way off! He'd need to earn £115 per week, he is currently only earning £100 per month.

    Reading the previous posts from the OP I am wondering if his partner is still studying at OU and what the current situation is.

    If he gave us more details we may be able to work out other options for them both to maximise income.

    OP has been in this situation for the best part of ten years. It was suggested in 2010 that they find employment.

    Sorry OP, the self employment is never going to work. It's time to find a proper job.
