Apparently only TT, SKY and BT are authorised to use the box that supplies the area, dont know if thats likely to be 100% likely though
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Hmmm, i used address checker instead and got the below, saying cabinet 1

    Featured Products

    Downstream Line Rate(Mbps)

    Upstream Line Rate(Mbps)

    Downstream Range(Mbps)

    Availability Date

    High Low High Low
    FTTC Range A (Clean) 67.2 50.9 19.5 13.2 -- Available
    FTTC Range B (Impacted) 55.3 32.4 15.8 6.9 -- Available
    WBC ADSL 2+ Up to 1 -- 1 to 3.5 Available
ADSL Max Up to 1 -- 0.75 to 2.5 Available
    WBC Fixed Rate 0.5 -- -- Available
    Fixed Rate 0.5 -- -- Available
    Other Offerings
    Fibre Multicast -- -- -- Available
    Copper Multicast -- -- -- Available

Yeah that's why I mentioned using the address check. The postcode one is pretty poor as a postcode can span a large area and a single postcode can be served by multiple cabinets.

Speeds between 50 and 67mbps is pretty decent though!

Any ISP which uses the Openreach network can provide your broadband via FTTC. There are some circumstances whereby LLU operators cannot however they are very few and far between.
