Peak travel times so it's unlikely to be "cheap".
Try playing with flight search engines like Kayak, Skyscanner, Google Flights etc. Being flexible with departure airports, routes and dates might help with price.
Do you have any more info, like your preferred departure airport, rough dates/duration? I'm sure people here won't mind helping...0 -

I see this stated alot and agree it's always worth looking at and considering, but don't just automatically assume it's always cheaper.
Flight pricing can sometimes seem illogical.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
I quite agree. And it isn't worth it if the saving is only £50 and the Ryanair flight is £20 return plus baggage.jackieblack wrote: »I see this stated alot and agree it's always worth looking at and considering, but don't just automatically assume it's always cheaper.

But, as part of using Kayak, Skyscanner, Google Flights etc it is one of the starting points to price up.0 -
If you are time rich try routes via Iceland or Canada on no frills airlines and staying in hostels.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

A friend and his family have two flights booked from UK to Detroit.
Cheapest in June was UK to US and an internal flight.
Cheapest in September was UK to Amsterdam then a direct flight.0
