Urgent 27k debt help

Hi

I am new to the forum and in need of help.

I have managed to build debts of 27k over 3 credit cards, how i have done this is another topic but about 8k of this has been spent in the past 4 months

Before after i paid all my bills etc i always had money left to spend on myself but now im at the point where i can pay £700 towards the cards but it leaves me nothing to spend on myself which is my own fault i know

I would really appreciate any advice anyone with a wise head can give me

If it were me, transfer all three to one card, one with 0%.

You might want to try posting this in the debt free wannabe section - there are various posters/professionals on there who can give advice. This sub forum is more about getting the best credit card deals - rather than debt management.

Good luck anyway - and try not to worry. You are not the only person in this situation.

I agree, posting on a board dedicated to getting the most out of credit cards is probably not where you need to be right now.

Start with burning your cards and stopping spending.

I don't think anyone would get a credit card with a 27k limit very easily...

certainly not on top of the £27k debt OP already has.

Definitely go over to the debt free board. Stop spending. Look at your spending i.e. fill in an SOA (statement of affairs). What DID you spent the money on. 8k in 4 months is a lot. As some of it is recent, can it go back, can you sell it.

Plus I think your attitude needs to change slightly. You don't seem to be worried about paying the debt back but rather about not having any money to spend on yourself?

    No.

My boss has 30k limit on a card and has an average salary.

    Its possible.
