The Happy Thread

Being in debt as you all know, causes us (or me at least, anyone else?) to feel pretty low alot of the time but today i'm on a bit of a high. So I thought I'd make a thread for people to say what they're happy about at the moment or any good news they've had. It might work it might not but I thought it was worth a try to prove that regardless of debts, good things still do happen occasionally :D.

I'll start. Over the past 4 days I've managed to make £400 extra which I won't discuss board rules n all but in my situation that's A LOT, and it's about to help me put my current account into credit (albeit for 2 weeks lol :rotfl:) for the first time in 4 years!!!! Which I'm so happy about :T. Come on guys your good news, even if it's only something small

Does it have to be a happy money thing, or can it be a general happy? Your thread, you make the rules?

I have to get my OH to come home from work and hoover them up - lucky he's a taxi driver and not too far away! I was once trapped upstairs as there was a giant one (i swear it was bigger than my whole head) was sitting on the landing waiting to pounce!

  • Yey i have good news too...we have cleared our mortgage arrears of £650 and its such a weight off it also looks like our money situation is on the up as the OH has a new job stating soon i have an extra job and im in a much better mood this week! thank god for the CAB and a lovely lady called Nora!
Christmas is on its way and im starting to save!
  • lol MissKJ, not only good of you but pretty brave I would say. The name doesn't really mean much, I used to get called Baxter (I still don't know why 9 years later, I'm called Dave? heh) and the gttdi is off the car i had ages ago. When I first started using the net it's the name I used (being young and stupid etc) and I just stick with it as I am very unimaginative heh, nothing more interesting than that
