Le creuset stainless steel pans

Just bought this set of saucepans all lovely new and shiny. Followed care and use instructions to the letter, after first use, the inside of the pan looks a bit blotchy and discoloured, is this normal? never had stainless steel before

Never had the Le Crueset stainless steel, but can vouch for the "normal" ones - my oldest was a casserole dish which was a wedding present 37 years ago. Magic! (Must agree tho' that they are a bit heavy.)
