If I'm honest I didn't contact the landowner yet, do you think its still worth it at this stage?0

Enforcement action? Yes they can issue a claim in the small claims court against you. As previously advised this is possible but given the circumstances of your case and who the parking company is - unlikely.
And this is clearly not your "first letter" as that was the one that notified you they wanted £100 and prompted you to submit your 'appeal'.0 -
The only correspondence I have had from firm is the original ticket and a reply to my email rejecting my appeal. This is the first letter I have received to my address.

Oh so it was a windscreen ticket, I hadn't picked that up from your previous posts.
If the Notice to Keeper was as late as you say it was (and you are the keeper and it's registered to your address) then if you hadn't 'outed' yourself as the driver in your appeal you could have relied on "no keeper liability' if they are foolish enough to try court.0 -

You should expect a flurry of letters begging for the money and threatening court. We've ignored these daft letter chains for a decade. This is soooo easy, quite fun and not about holding your nerve or anything that requires any worry.bigdaveysjcb wrote: »I have not paid yet
And you won't. Like I said ages ago, ignoring the letres is no biggie. The sky does not fall in, there are no repercussions, no CCJ or effect on your credit rating as long as you do not ignore actual court papers (rare). And if you move house, include them on your list of people to advice - sounds odd but what you don't want is an unknown court letter arriving to an old address in 3 or 4 years time which is the only way you'd get a default CCJ, purely from 'ignoring' it.
That's all. Expect a letter every month. Laugh and file them. You'll miss 'em when they fizzle out!
NEWBIES please note the advice is different depending on each company and whether POPLA is available.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

One more thing although it probably does not have any bearing but I will mention it anyway, just noticed the letter does not state any contravention location details whatsoever, this information is completely absent.

Hi Guys
Just received a letter 'Notice of Debt Recovery' from DCBL recovery & bailiffs company for a £100 parking fine unpaid to Northern Parking Services with £60 recovery fee added.
I'm assuming that I just file away in the drawer along with the other ones but just wanted to make sure?
Kindest Regards

Does it really say the word "fine?" If it does, you should be complaining to the DVLA and Trading Standards and your MP and Mrs May that the parking company's debt collectors are misrepresenting authority.I married my cousin.
