Help needed
Hi guys,
Would like some help/advice on behalf of my wife regarding an 02 contract.
She signed up for an iphone about 18 months ago paying around £38 p/month for handset and contract. Fine. She then noticed after about 6 months that we had 3 separate payments(one is mine) going to 02 on our internet banking, we did some digging and found that she was paying for 2 phones?? She rang 02 and they said she signed up for 2 phones when she took out the contract in store, she has no doubt that this did not happen unless by accident caused by the member of staff (why would anyone buy 2 phones and only use 1). She has only one handset but apparently has 2 numbers activated. One of which is hers, the other she has no idea of?? It has never once been used in 18 months, yet after speaking and emailing 02 they will not even let her cancel the contract let alone refund her!! 18 months x £38 =£684 with another 6 months to run. Surely there has to be a way we can argue this it is ridiculous.
Many thanks

Complain in writing. Demand cancellation and full refund. The onus lies on O2 to prove that she took the second contract.
Alternatively try using Resolver - free complaints tool
Ultimately you can use Small Claims Court0 -
Why was it not picked up at an earlier point ?0
