Warning! Travel FX currency troubles

Hi, I want to let people know of trouble we're having with Travel FX over a currency request. I requested 1500 euros from it for delivery on 6 May. The money didn't arrive and when I emailed I had no response. When I phoned, I was told that the euros orders were gone for the day, ours was not not among them and that I would probably have delivery on 10 May or maybe the 11th.
This was too late for us and I let them know that. I was offered a refund but was told there would be a £20 fee. I accepted this as I had no choice. On 9 May I checked my account to see if the money had arrived and it had but it was £120 short. This is the £20 plus a buy/sell fee of £100 apparently.
I am very upset and have complained to the company. I will let you know how it goes but wanted to warn people that you may have unreasonable delays with this company and worse cancellation charges. I have ordered currency online many times from a variety if companies and never had trouble with next day delivery or unexpected charges.

that's what you get for dealing with a non-reputable company just to save a couple of ££££££s"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

How did you pay them? If by card (debit or credit) then request a charge-back, on the basis that they did not provide the service that was promised: the delivery date formed part of the contract.0
