Looking for a new smartphone.
I'm looking for a new smartphone as my last one has died.
My budget is up to £150, but I only want to pay that much if it has a removable battery. I'd prefer to pay somewhere in the region of £100-£130, if the phone doesn't have a removable battery.
I don't use the phone much. I mainly need it for taking pics and having net access and a few games/apps for when out and about or in hospital.
I only make calls or send texts occasionally, so I'm looking at PAYG.
Any ideas?

Why do you need removable battery??
This phone caught my eye previously when I considering getting new mobile.
Ulefone Power - £139 Really long battery life...
Other then that here are some other good value one may worth a look.
If you are on vodafone, you can have a look on LG G3 for £150
Huawei P8 Lite is cheap at the moment...0 -
I've got an LG G3 - the removable battery is nice; but you'll need it if you go 'off grid' at all - the thing burns through battery quickly.
When it was hot this weekend, it kept turn itself off when i was web-browsing, blaming excessive temperature.0 -
My last phone's battery stopped charging. I can't replace the battery as it's a non removable one, so the phone is now useless.0

If you can't replace it, this doesn't mean that you can't get it replaced.
It's non-removable, not non-replaceable.

I recently bought a Wileyfox Swift for £129.

Very happy with it. It has Dual-SIM and a removable battery. Though I haven't found a spare battery for sale anywhere yet.0 -
I can recommend the Huawei P8 Lite. I got mine from the CPW earlier this year for just under £100 and it's around £90 at the moment. It works well, is faster than my old S3 ever was and apart from the display in comparison to the S3 is comparably better IMO.0

My vote would be the wileyfox swift as well, it's pretty much stock android, will get updates faster and a very good spec for the price.0

Can't really go wrong with the Smart Ultra 6, camera coud be better in lower light and there is no removalable battery, otherwise brilliant value. You can unlock it with a simple code you can buy on ebay for a couple of pounds, had mine 8 months now.0 -
Thanks everyone.
The Wileyfox looks pretty good, but reviews say picture quality could be better.
The Smart Ultra 6 also looks good, but I think it will be too big for my small hands. Husband has a 5.5 screen phone and I've found it's awkward to hold. A shame, because I think I would've gone for this one if it had a 5" screen.
Gah, it's so hard choosing a new phone nowadays!0
