As long as tax credits don't do a random check via Concentrix and ask to look at a years worth of bank statements you should be fine if they do you may have a lot of explaining to do.0

Compliance will know he doesn't live with you because he will be registered at his own address for council tax and GP etc.Overactively underachieving for almost half a century0

Have you thought about if he decided to disappear 1 day, leave you with a credit card bill ? Or he is unable to work for whatever reason.
You do know it's against the terms of the agreement you agreed to to let someone else use your card ?0 -
If it's no big deal why did it make you worry so much you felt sick?0

As he isn't supposed to use your card, it would look like it was your spending. If he is then paying it off by putting substantial amounts of money in your account, it does make you look financially linked.
Not sure how this is viewed by the Tax Credit people but it wouldn't surprise me if it raised a question or two.0 -
Why is he not able to apply for and use a credit card in his own name? Even if he is named as an additional card holder (and you haven't stated that he is, which may mean you're in breach of your CC agreement), you are wholly responsible for spending on this card, and open yourself up to risk of having to cover the balance if he ever can't or doesn't. I must say it is a bit of a strange arrangement, and I do think it makes you appear financially linked.0

It's not about whether it is a big deal or not, it's about why you would have such an agreement in the first place. It's not something people would normally do because it involves a number of steps that are not necessary if everyone uses their own card, so the question that would most likely be asked is why?He uses my credit card I get cash back etc anyway it's really no big deal, thanks for the useful information0
