Morning all,
Thanks for the start Maria
DMNS Hope you can come to a compromise...
MTC Shame the house wouldn't work out for you. Good luck with the hunting.
Today:
I am working from home again. Have been suffering from a terrible migraine and am choc full of painkillers and dare not drive. benefit - saving fuel!
I have managed to get a load of laundry out on the line
Need to book son's jabs
rearrange some appts
sort out mortgage paperwork
plus the horrible task of tax credits. Our situation changed last year (for the better thankfully) but it has really screwed us up over tax credits. We have now been overpaid as hubs got his job late in the year and HMRC made so many mistakes over the changes. I now have a ream of paper from them and to top it all off, have been asked to prove my childcare costs & my workings out. It's stressing me out and I suspect may have been the cause of said migraine as the letter came through end of last week and my migraine has been all weekend. ARGHHH! So on top of the debt we have, we are going to have to manage repayments to HMRC whenever it gets sorted out.
At least the sun is shining
Have a great day everyone xNew total: £24,006
I will do this.0 -
Hi guys
Hope everyone is doing well.
Yip, bring back the weekend please!!
I’m trying to only focus on the good this week...
Brekkie from home
Put cash in the bank and 2 x cheques
Do a money dance to save overdraft fees
OH and FIL fixed tenant’s WM so happy about that :A
Got offered class cover :j
Leftover roast chicken for tea tonight :A
Try to sort a bit of a meal plan (Mon to Thurs) before supermarket trip
Downloaded some free e-books
Trying to decide whether to teach tonight or cancel – it’s drop in so I have no idea how many will come. Also makes it hard to cancel because I don’t know who to text/email – if they turn up and I’m not there they probably won’t come back...
Parents are visiting at the weekend – need to do a bit of a meal plan for that but will wait til later in the week.
We sorted YNAB yesterday – OH thought he had about £60 in cash and he had £180 :T  (Seems so strange to me that someone can be so far removed from their cash situ but reconciling YNAB once a week means we don’t get too far out of sync at least...)0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
It's still lovely outside - I'm just home from my training session. With a groin strain. Don't know what I've done but I'm in agony. Quite uncomfortable - daft so and so I am.
MTC - so pleased that you've enjoyed a happy birthday weekend
DNMS - happy to hear that a compromise has been reached with the garden.
Hellebelle - Don't envy you re the tax credits situation. I was so pleased when I no longer had to deal with them - never could get through on the phone, and they could never seem to get my money right.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »

Evening all

Thanks for the start Maria, I love that you have been spending on chickens and craft materials :rotfl:
Late post today, as I haven't done much
A few surveys
Checked FPL
Walked to post office to post ebay sales
Went to the sales unit while out
Listed another item on ebay - now used up my 20 free listings for May, several things sold already
Walked to surgery this afternoon for my Dr's appointment - would have driven but our road is closed for repairs yet again, and today it wasn't even possible to get the car out
Still, the extra couple of miles won't have done me any harm - but not sure how a person not lucky enough to be able to do this would have managed....
HM meals from stores
Heating off
DH did both dog walks
Bit of ironing
And that is it! Must do better tomorrow
