http://tapnewswire.com/2015/04/nwo-agenda-21-the-secret-lives-of-common-purpose-sharks/I was on ESA up to March of this year when it was cut after an assessment, like countess others. Now I'm claiming JSA again and have been told that after signing yesterday that they are suspending payment because apparently I haven't done a decent jobsearch. Despite applying for two jobs per day for most days in the last three weeks including when became very ill with pharyngitis which two doctors told me I had to have total rest, and also there being a bank holiday weekend in that time also.

The problem seems to be that I did not explain myself properly. She seems to think because I haven't done any work this year, she think that means I haven't applied for any jobs which as I said above I had. She only has to look it up on UJ to check but she wouldn't. Or if she did it didn't satisfy her.

I also found out that I should have been given a J28 form when I was ill but wasn't - obviously another attempt to discredit me. (Because I rarely get ill I didn't even know I should have had one.)

Now after waiting until 5pm today to find out whether I'll be paid, only to be told I won't be, now I have to stress about it all weekend until I can try to resolve this first thing Monday morning. I was (and still am) furious, especially as this staff member didn't check her facts before sending this to the decision maker. A weekend is a long time when you something like this hanging over your head.

I will be appealing the decision (especially if I am formally sanctioned) and have just sent a complaint to the DWP.

Sorry to rant on here but it serves as a lesson to everyone in the unenviable position of having to sign on and just how low they will stoop to get you sanctioned.

You may have a hard time appealing against their decision. JSA Claimants are expected to spend 35 hours a week I believe looking for work. I don't think 2 jobs a day will cut it. Applying for 2 jobs takes like 5 mins. Especially using their website... APPLY APPLY. Done.

I suspect you will need to accept this sanction... Otherwise get a letter from your doctor to say your condition has got worse.

I have to accept this sanction even though I was ill? I don't think so lol. It's not like I asked to be ill.

As for the two jobs a day thing two doctors told me I need total rest. And where I live there aren't that many jobs that I can apply for, unless I go further afield which is impossible when you live on £55 a week. Some of you need to get back to reality, I'm assuming you actually work and earn a good wage? So therefore you have no idea what I'm going through. You can attack me more if you like, I really don't care, I'm so depressed I couldn't care less so go on if it makes you feel better, I've always been a punchbag.

People trained on Common Purpose courses go through behaviour modification, where as normal people behave in a way where they treat everyone the same, they're trained to bully and marginalise certain people, or groups of people in society. They usually pick on the weakest and vulnerable people. I'm not saying everybody that has been on these courses will be like that, but I've heard of people that have been on these courses where they have become completely different people, to the point where their family has (almost) disowned them.

You can do a free common purpose course on line. I'm intrigued..

What caused your sore throat? I'm surprised it required total rest.. Unless they meant resting your voice?

Is two jobs per day what was agreed? Or was it 14 a week or some other equivalent?

    Here's my theory.

I have no idea what a J28 is but my guess would be it's something issued when you tell them you can't do something because you are sick. At the time you are sick.

It sounds as if you have told them this 'after the fact' - you say you still looked for work when you were sick.

So if it is something to be issued as a result of you reporting something at the time, then them not knowing about it would be the reason for not issuing it.

It is sounding like they are not happy about something - rightly or wrongly - and you are giving your reasons a bit late.

Apologies if that's wrong but it's just a scenario that sounds about right.

    Ha ha very funny.

Pharyngitis is a bit more than a sore throat, there are other things that go with it.

"most" days implies not all days, and I imagine your JSagreement sets out a minimum amount per week (which I assume is 14 hence why you say 2 a day)

You haven't met your agreement and searched for 14 jobs per week (or whatever)

Bank Holiday Weekends have absolutely no affect on your ability to jobsearch. (and if it really did, you can mke it up on Tuesday, Wednesday... etc.

Most days is not good enough.

    Thanks for the helpful reply.:)

The thing is they did know about it, I signed on while I was ill, I even went to a job interview which meant I had to walk up a very steep hill to get there, something I didn't fancy doing when I was so ill, disobeying doctor's orders but I did it to satisfy them when I signed on. Fat lot of good it did.

They definitely knew about it, I told them they could ring my doctor and ask him if they didn't believe me. They replied "I won't be doing that".

I've only been signing on for a few weeks after they bullied me to depression lastb year which meant I had to be signed off onto ESA for 6 months. What are they trying to prove? Is this is supposed to be getting me into work it's failing dismally. I just think all the stuff about killing off the poor and disabled must be true. Well I know it's true now that I've done the research. Sanctions are there to "starve out the undesirables".

That is what I've been doing since I claimed and nobody said it was a problem until now. So it must be in my agreement. And most days is good enough if you're very ill as I was, if you ask me. You wouldn't expect me to work if I was ill would you? If I had a job I would have been off work for at least two weeks.

And where I live there are hardly any jobs to apply for on a normal day, never mind a bank holiday. And it's only going to get worse as we get near the EU referendum, because of economic uncertainty, so I've heard. Sad but true. And I suppose that will be my fault too.

Well my doctor called it pharyngitis, though I also had a cough (which I still partly have), flu symptoms, constant headaches and swollen neck and throat (obviously my body trying to fight it off). All the doctor could give me was mouthwash to gargle with to soothe my throat as it was the virus form, I asked for painkillers or something but he said he couldn't, I just had to ride it out. Sorry about that, my fault again I guess. I also had a watering bloodshot eye for a few days where I had to go back to the doctors to get eye drops. My fault also right?
