If its a Flexible cash ISA you could withdraw all but £1 and put the money in a non-ISA product paying higher interest and if you were concerned to keep the money within an ISA replace the withdrawn funds before 5th April 2017?
Don't know what the loophole is or if that complicates the above.0 -
Just put the money in a stocks and shares Isa in a diversified fund. Don't know why people bother with cash isas now0

My current predicament is I've got an old ISA with Nationwide that's going down to 1% but as I've got a H2B with the Halifax I don't want to move it.
Does anyone know if I'm allowed to withdraw all bar £1, put it into high
interest current accounts and put it back in before April 2017 or would that be considered contributing to two Cash ISAs?
Thanks0 -

You should be able to do that - read up about Flexible ISAs. Nationwide definitely do offer these but you have to confirm that the one you have is indeed a flexible ISA.0 -
Well, last day & they are still offering it at 1.3%!0

Gosh!
You do have a bee in your bonnet.0 -
It didnt go down, its still 1.3%0

I note that they say that some rates are increasing:

I bet they're few and far between!
The above link now has a PDF listing in glorious colour all the rate changes from today.
Mysteriously the Flexclusive ISAs issues 10, 11, 12 don't seem to be included!?
So maybe the 1.3% Flexclusive ISA does exist!?
Hmmm think I will go into my local branch and request an upgrade on my £1 balance from the Flexclusive ISA to the Flexclusive ISA same name different product you see.
Nationwide you should be investigated.0
