If you're still in a mobile phone contract can you still request a PAC code to take your number to another provider because they're offering a better deal?

Thanks

Thank you. Looks like I'll have to get an extra number, then transfer my original number at the end of my current contract.

You can ask for your PAC but as soon as you use it your current contract gets cancelled with the attendant additional costs of an early termination.

Yes, one can switch provider at any time.

It's a different issue that one has to pay the Early Termination Fee for leaving before the minimum term expires.

I've just checked the Delight Mobile coverage and it seems that despite using the EE network it just has 2G and 3G coverage. If it uses EE's network wouldn't it also have 4G coverage?

No they are a virtual network running off EE meaning they don't own there own infrastructure so EE doesn't have to let them have 4G.

Ask for your PAC code and usually they'll require a month's advance to cancel your contract.
Usually? How 'usually'? What about 12/24-months' contracts?
