You are paying for the name with Gucci but there isn't necessarily anything wrong with that. Didn't Martin say something along the lines that MSE isn't about getting the cheapest option, it's about getting what you want at the best possible price. I'd say 20% off is a pretty good deal, unless anyone knows better...0

Most monarchies have mixed heritage, mainly because of the habit of marrying between royal families to avoid wars/take over countries etc.
How many of us can swear to be totally British back to the dark ages and beyond?

Well congrats to MKS ....the winner in the strawberry competition...I hope they tasted as good as they looked.
Lovely to see the plan for the meet progressing well...Di is such a star at organising and I'm sure you'll all have a blast...fingers crossed for the weather.
This afternoon DS has a chemistry exam...should be ok as its a retake from last year...next week he starts the A2 units...3 weeks to go and 7 more exams...cant pretend its not dragging and we will all be happier and calmer when its over.

12pm : Official ‘Opening of the Gates’ at the Eastgate followed by a procession to Town Hall Square with invited guests including Chester Brass Band, Adult Choirs, Scouts, Brownies, etc.
12.15pm : Picnic on Town Hall Square begins with performances from Adult Choirs (6 in total, approx. 20 minute sets)
2pm : School Choirs assemble at designated site close to Town Hall Square ready for the procession
2.30pm : Adult Choirs, School Choirs and City of Chester Brass Band procession to Eastgate Street
2.45pm : School Choirs perform “Queen’s 90 Year Medley’ in front of the City of Chester Vintage Bus
3pm : Matt Baker leads a singalong for all participants and audience on Eastgate Street
