Third-party hearsay, signs in Homebase stores that they will be dropping nectar at the end of the year, via http://www.shopperpoints.co.uk/2016/06/07/homebase-to-drop-nectar-as-a-partner/

I had a feeling this might happen eventually. We have 3 Homebases, all a bit if a distance away but I've used them for bonus point offers on occasion so it will be a shame when they go off the list

Muggy here - a few spots rain last night - all you can here is strimmers :) & a howling dog :(

I still have my secret visitor every night :o but ignores me during the day :rotfl:

Carnival Charity Bingo tonight with prizes - I do not want to win :o

I had Treacle cat cuddled up with me on Sunday night, big mistake, worse than having a hyped up toddler in the bed, at one stage I was convinced he was trying to do a cat version of stroking my hair :rotfl:

Loo rolls - Nicky Elite 3ply in Home Bargains or Farmfoods are always £2 for 9.

Must start getting to Farmfoods more often.
Is the milk still cheaper there compared to other supermarkets. Need loads of that as OH has ensure type drinks but now they prescribe one where he has to mix it up himself in the blender, so get through loads.

My mother just text me to ask what cake I was making. I thought I replied 'Thomas the Tank Engine'. She text to me say that's not very appropriate for a one year old. Looking back it autocorrected to 'Thomas the W*nk Engine'.

    Whoops :rotfl:

Tatton - the food Festival weekend is 15,16, 17 July do we will def be going to that, not sure what day. I am wondering if I can buy tickets from Livingsocial but then if I get tickets by other means I could cancel - I don't mind having livingsocial credit which is how they generally do refunds. We went I think either the 1st or 2nd year it was on, thinking it would be rubbish but actually it was excellent - love the food festivals and various shows and wish we could get to more of them.

If anyone comes across competitions or prize draws for tickets let me know, it's always better if you have free tickets. Actually we need 4 just incase eldest son and his BF might also want to go as they went last year.

Tatton flower show - love this one but I've just checked the price of tickets £26 on the gate  so an expensive day out £52 worth especially as I don't really think OH likes gardening - he can do the manly stuff like lawns, hedges, and hole digging but the planting, dividing, sowing, weeding and design bits he has no interest in whatsoever ...

So I really really need to win tickets to this if everyone can keep a look out. There are so few Tatton ticket draws around now and so many more people doing comps ...

I've won tickets a few times in the past. One year we were getting ready to set off and I stood on a wasp so I was hobbling around all day :D

Tatton is the other side of CHESHIRE to us, about an hour away and we generally go for opening time as our fabulous bit if the M6 be ones a car park that week

What are the chances of you meeting us on the 23rd?? If someone came and picked you up/dropped you off? You are not that far away at all. I know you don't drive but I'd REALLY LOVE TO MEET YOU :o you can say no but we have enough resources between our bunch of ladies to make it possible if you feel up for it. I thought of this today.

I also wondered if you are going to Tatton flower show this year as I am :D

Happy shopping to those venturing forth :)

Day trippers, hope you have a good time in Blackpool :rotfl:
