According to the storm map this morning there is just one orange dot off the coast of Brighton - we are warm but overcast this morning“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0

Just a reminder that the 5 for £6 frozen deal ends in Waitrose today. Wish I had discovered this really good deal sooner.
The signage for the offer has not been anywhere in the two stores I have been in but fortunately Zippy spotted it :T

I pop into W's almost daily and for the last 2/3 weeks the shelf has been bare whether I go morning or evening. Even asked a couple of times and nothing
Never mind, obviously not meant to enjoy the yummy burgers :rotfl:0 -

Third-party hearsay, signs in Homebase stores that they will be dropping nectar at the end of the year, via http://www.shopperpoints.co.uk/2016/06/07/homebase-to-drop-nectar-as-a-partner/0

I am late to the party this morning as we have had major drama
OH brought tea to me at 6.30 as usual and asks where is Sophie cat. This is a stupid question as she sleeps under his armpit, wrapped around his neck or on his head at night and always has done.
Last night with it being so lovely I had trouble getting everyone in, 10 is curfew time but Ronnie our alpha male was in a right mood, twice Sophie came in only to have Ronnie go into attack mode and chase her out. Finally at 10.30 everyone was in and we were locked down for the night.
OH always goes up first as I am in charge of night time security and sometimes I have a late night catch up with you lot. So a bit later I go up, Treacle cat is scuttling about but I corall him - Treacle and Ronnie have to be shut in the living room at night with food, water and litter tray otherwise they roam the house all night and cuddle up in bed like demented toddlers so no one gets any sleep.
One bedroom window is still wide open so I shut it not realising that Sophie cat has used it as an escape route - it leads onto the flat roof over the kitchen but none of our cats ever go in or out of it. The flat roof is a good sun bathing spot for Treacle but no one else goes up there
I don't check that Sophie is not in her usual bedtime spot - never any need to, OH snoring away by the time I went up.
So at 6.30 I was up and out of bed, can't go shouting Sophie down the garden as I would wake everyone in the street. Ronnie and Treacle are sat outside so I said to Ronnie to go and find Sophie so off he goes.
At 7 I see him at the bottom of next doors garden checking to see if the coast is clear and he then crosses into 2 doors down who has a beautiful plant filled garden and I see him going through the hedge.
At 9 Ronnie is back and he is sitting on the bench outside and at 9.10 Sophie is also back - yes I am convinced he did go to find her - as mad as it sounds, she did follow him home :T
So the wanderer is home, eaten some breakfast with Ronnie and is now curled up on the sofa knackered out and ready for a days sleep
Much re joycing“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Feeling oddly productive today! So far I've been shopping, put a wash on, hung my clothes out to dry, cleaned, and baked a cake. Can almost see why people get up early on a day off :rotfl:
Hope you have lovely days
I was a bit like that yesterday - washed and rehung kitchen curtains, did all floors, sorted out airing cupboard, gave 4 unwanted items away and sorted another load for fleabay and still felt like I had a day in front of me. I think it's the warmth in my case, these lovely temp levels are encouraging activity. I moved house once in an August heatwave and never batted an eye. Did another move one January and I could barely drag myself around, felt very feeble and it took ages.
Loo rolls - Nicky Elite 3ply in Home Bargains or Farmfoods are always £2 for 9.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Well bang goes my cutting the grass before the storm idea. Mum phoned at 9 to say carer had been and gone and now mum decides she wants to open the patio door to let the cat out but she cant stand for long and having trouble opening the door. So thats cue for get here asap. Carer had asked mum if she wanted a lunch time visit and mum's said to her my daughter (me muggins) might be here then  Luckily carer said will pop in anyhow. Phew, so can pop home at 12 and hopefully get some jobs done. Wish I could get my mum to just say yes please to them when they ask if she wants a lunch time visit.
Then its a case of waiting for mum to phone again to say lunch time visit has been done then me going back to mums again till sister gets home at 6.30. Might have time to pop into A's then to get more fish0 -
