Velvet comfort 9 packs in Wilko - order online through TCB, collect instore - not dirt cheap but better than nothing.
Cidre - go and have another look, a really good look - I found a bag of 12 behind the sofa the other day, long forgotten about :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. The sun has got its hat on and all the kids are off school today, so a run out somewhere is in order.
Hope everyone is enjoying the day off.0 -
Good afternoon Elite :hello:
Grey cloudy sky and cold here today, just as well I'm in for the day. No visitors coming, dh gone to allotment, ds4 watching a film:).
I've got so much to do but lost my mojo  so might just read a book after lunch or find a film for me to watch upstairs. No doubt dh will have sport on when he gets back and I can't sit all afternoon watching that
I hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, ds3 was going to pop in but has gone to work on 12 hours, extra cash plus a day off can't be bad :T. He works so hard putting in extra hours but he enjoys his cycling and running and these cost £s at times. Plus he has his house to run.
Think I'd better go have a catchup, I think I'm about 5 pages behind
Rhos, if you are reading, hugs to you sweetheart, hope to see you soon xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

:rotfl: Far too much time on your hands.
Morning all.
I was considering going away this weekend, but decided against it, as the garden is desperate for some attention................I wish I had gone if the weather is going to be like this, wet and overcast.
Am losing the plot as we all know DM but I can't find a post about wine red merlot from TM0 -
It breaks your heart when your babies are poorlyAfternoon Elite :money:
Oh bless you springdreams and your DS. so hard to bear. All you can do is give your westie even more love and attention. You will know when the time comes to do what we as responsible dog/cat owners must do for them. Thinking of you all :A
I've had to take my little Millie to the vets today, yes they had an emergency surgery today. She is 12 and on medication for medium heart murmer, but yesterday she had a seizure/slight heart attack. It only lasted a few moments, Her head flung from one side to the other banging on floor, then went totally solid/rigid, with her back legs stretched out along her tummy. I held her and massaged her and she moved her head but eyes showed she wasn't in, if you know what I mean. She slowly came round, starring at me, and withing minutes was herself again. She has been a little off colour the past couple of weeks, coughing more and slowing down
I rang emergency vet yesterday and he advised me to bring her in today to other practice in nearby town, unless more seizures in which case I could see vet immediately. When I took her in this morning, vet says the coughing had probably stopped blood supply to brain and that if it happens again to massage her neck, behind her ears to stimulate the blood supply. Also advised me to see my own vet this week (that will be Thursday as that's next day she is on duty) and she will adjust her medication slowly, with daily monitoring, and also do blood tests, repeated regularly as medication changed. Just glad that Millie is still here as I was sure she was a gonner when I held her yesterday  So I am watching her closely now“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Went to boot sale yesterday, kids got loads, but didn't see anything I wanted for myself, then via various shops to DDs for roast gammon, lots of playtime and some time in the garden.
Quiet day in today....:D
Boudicca is in.... I may need a cruise ship spotter book.
We were on Boudicca last, deep sigh, gliding up and own various fjords
Then she went off on a long trip 4 or 5 sea days to Canada - 4 ports I think and then another 4 or 5 days back - 16 in total anyway“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. AnonDH has just informed me that he doesn't really like Carling, even if it's free :rotfl: Not sure we'll ever need to buy dw tablets again but no full sized bottles of shampoo left, we're using up our collection of freebies from hotels at the moment
