Good morning everyone, cloudy one here.
Congratulations to Louise, and a belated happy birthday to Hornetgirl, things just got away from me yesterday, my mind was elsewhere, sorry xx
Seeing you mentioning about no internet Anon, the grandkids used to nag us to be allowed on tablets/phones or have the TV on when they got here. They don't anymore because they know we don't let them, and it is absolutely lovely to see them playing with toys and/or each other, or read them a book whilst having a cheeky snuggle.
Oh and I forgot to mention, the bedroom curtains I washed shrank no more than an inch, and they went back up perfectly with no amendments to the linings required
I now know how to get damp out of linings so will be doing two other sets of curtain linings soon. It is simply a question of soaking them in a strong mixture of washing liquid and vanish for a couple of daysThey come out lovely.

Morning all, so far we have sunshine but it's looking cloudy, just hope that it warms up a bit, visitor due much later, beds changed, bedding washed and on the line and hopefully remaid and the house full of fragrance by 4.30
Treacle cat must gave had a bad night, still asleep on his blanket on the sofa so I can't vacuum yet which is my excuse for a brew and a sit down.
OH has gone into work, always works bank holidays but at least I can get the jobs done.
BM yesterday - the summer bulbs all reduced to 50p for the ordinary packs and £1 for the mixed so I got 3 of the white selection - three types of bulbs and 75 in each pack so that's my job for later, yet more bulb planting“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. I haven't read back so could be wrong but I remember (whoa ) last week when the wine came on offer that I think it was COT said he was waiting or looking for free wine
He didn't say he had found it and I took it to mean he was only going to partake if wine was free or pennies

I finally have the 02 priority app on my phone - yes I am very late to this party and probably the kiss of death to it now
So I practised on Saturday and went to Boots and got my free sunbites popcorn :T
So what else do I need to know now.
I seem to think its £1 boots meal deal on Mondays - any hints or tips? I seem to think that some weeks the drink part if the deal is on Shopotize but not this week.
Not that this offer I will take up very often - our nearest Boots with lunches is on a very busy shopping oral, impossible to get on and off.
Years ago I think large bags of chocs were in the meal deal and there were ways of super sizing and getting added value ...
Also something to do with dominos on Mondays but does it apply to bank holiday Mondays ?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. My mind has been preoccupied after hearing about train shenanigans last night
I went to Durham station to pick up guests and Platform 1 was full and I mean FULL of drunks .....mostly older people and mostly women. One lady could not stand unsupported:o Not good where there are speeding trains:o
They were getting on the train from Newcastle which my guests were getting off and there had been a incident on that train involving a large group of women and one man. He was drunk and was shouting obscenities. He was challenged separately by 2 men one of whom had a 10 year old son:o
An argument ensued. It was a terrible journey:o
I can't imagine how much worse it must have got once the "happy " passengers from Durham got on.
It set me off thinking how I would have reacted on the train. I'm a challenger but how do you do it without making the situation worse?:oTo do is to be. Rousseau
