Good morning all, cloudy one here.
Roast chicken for dinner, I do not really enjoy roast dinners but it is the one time OH really enjoys his so I do it for him really. Must admit that I swerved doing one for my birthday though, I had what I wanted which was an easy to do pie and chips
Finally got rid of the smell of gloss paint in the house. Have to do the bathroom but only got the window frame to gloss in there, the door frame will wait until the door is off and being replaced, we have to fill a few bits in the frame and change a few bits, it's the only one where we're changing the hinges because the door is painted and the hinges are painted in the wrong place. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
We've struck a deal with mil over the decorating - she is going to feed us in the evenings in return0

Good morning everyone. Not quite Carling again for me. Glad its nearly the start of another month to see if we get better offers next month.
Having a lazy pottering day today. Just tidied the freezers out so at least I know what is in them.
I am now cooking lots of odd bits out of it to last us the week. So far big pan of garlic mushroom for OH - mushrooms were bought woopsied for 5p per kg and thrown into freezer. Think they will be okay. A big pan of roasted vegetables and tomatoes in tomato sauce. Still to do something with some stewing steak in pressure cooker and have a big tray of sliced turkey for a curry.
Have a few bits and pieces defrosting to cook tomorrow.
May pop out later for a womble and a woopsie run if I get ready.
Hope you all have a fab Sunday. Off to attack an hours ironing and watch last night casualty to make it bearable.0 -
Just checking some things..
this might work but no interest for me.

Morries £1.. only this one is out of stock.. should be 45p each.

Big thank you to Snap, found the qvc shop came out £77 lighter  but happyhubby wasn't impressed he sat on a chair with a face like a wet weekend :rotfl::rotfl: but then gave me £25 when we got home, said which boots were your favourite? I've bought them for you :rotfl::rotfl:
I've got a question for people who use eBay.
Can I respond to feedback that someone has left me?
They put that they ordered something in gold but got lime? They got lime cause that's what the listing shows and says :mad:0 -

You have been a real power house with all the decorating you've got through :T. Very satisfying when it's all done and brushes can be put away, until next time
I'm waiting for dh to decorate the smallest spare bedroom so I can move my family history stuff in there and claim it as my office  need to look out for a desk now :cool:hornetgirl wrote: »We've struck a deal with mil over the decorating - she is going to feed us in the evenings in return
That's a very good deal you've struck there hg. You'll find it hard once it's all done and you have to cook again though :rotfl: power to your elbow and your brushThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

I am sure you can. OH manages to. He also contacts ebay and has things removed if they are incorrect.0
