    Good morning

Thanks sunflower but I'm really struggling as to what to spend another £18 on groceries, does anyone have any ideas?

I would get, washing powder large Fairy £12 & Andrex 16 pack £6

Then my DS would claim them :) x

Now will someone lock me in a dark room so I don't spend anymore money! The problem with being off work is I've got too much time on my hands

Good Afternoon. Did my 30 lengths swimming this morning then met up,with Nellie in a Costa :). Had a good chat. We are going to Blackpool for the day the week after half term on the train so if anyone is near and wants to meet up please mention it lol.

After drinking mainly water for two weeks I have to report how delicious a drink of carrot juice is for a change lol. It's such a job finding drinks especially without citric acid in.

I am in ,will try and rally the gang need the date ,and nearer the time train times.:j:j

    Evening all. :)
Just checked out the price of Disney cruses

The ones I was watching have not come down in price this Tuesday :(

Yep, they have gone up massively over the last few years. First one I went on they had a kids sail free offer and it was really cheap. Got us hooked then prices gone up each year! The transatlantics are still pretty good value, but I think I'm probably priced out the standard 7 day type cruises now. I'm looking forward to trying out some different cruise lines!

I've had a bit of an emotional week. Just a one thing and another week that builds up and gets to you. But I was tipped over the edge by an email earlier.

My clinical nurse specialist asked me recently if I was interested in getting in touch with another patient of his in a similar position to me. I thought it can't be any different to the Swedish penpal thing we got allocated at primary school :o so I agreed, all I had to do was give my email address. We two are his only under 60 patients.

I sent an intrepid introduction email last week. Nothing heavy, just my basic circumstances, where I'm up to with treatment and how I'm feeling. He replied today and made me cry :o he's of a very similar age to me, we were diagnosed pretty close to each other so our treatment is in a similar place, but for the first time since i was first diagnosed......I have spoken to someone who feels what I'm feeling and that's what made me cry. I can talk for England....or even Scotland but no one can understand if they're not doing it. That's ok, but it's frustrating.

So I cried but in a good way. It was a good idea and I hope more nurses around the country are trying to match like minded people because of their situations

That is a great idea, and I'm glad its been helpful to you. Although my friend could talk to me about anything, and we really did, I still couldn't begin to put myself in her situation. As hers was a fairly unusual cancer too it would have been useful for her I think to have been able to speak to someone else in the same boat.

Well, I have finally sat down after what must have been 6 hours of glossing

I think I have one more day to go on that, out tomorrow so that will be Friday. I am the only one in so will be able to do the stairs as well as what is left.

After that it will be onto the bathroom.
