Just went to get some chops out the freezer in the garage and the bacon was soft. :eek: Someone must have lent against sliding switch on freezer and turned it off. Most probably me when DD2 was cooking and I was trying to put shopping away in the fridge out there night before last.

There was no puddle and it was still pretty iced up inside. The little joint of beef was still hard as were the chops and most of the meat just worrying the bacon was right in the middle at the back. There was some sauce in the bottom that Mr TS had made and that has defrosted.

But you know me I have just turned it on again fast freeze.

Thankfully the fish was in the chest freezer. Don't want to delve too deeply and let warm air in.....

Just thinking maybe I should have kept the bacon out it was already yellow stickered and frozen few days after as we didn't get round to eating it.

But don't want to open door again....

Ooh just remembered the ice cubes in the bottom were still solid well couldn't poke my finger through. Maybe it had only been off since last night. :cool: surely they would have been a puddle.

Though know there is a science over what would defrost first.
