It's crazy isn't it. I don't know how couples starting out afford anything in the south east (or South of France) these days.

In the South of France there are pockets that are a bit cheaper. ;) :rotfl:

But then her BF might not have quite the income he does working in central London. Anyway it's not an option as DD1 loves it where she is now.....so doesn't look like they will be moving back this way which was talked about at one point.

I think you should have a ribbon cutting ceremony and " I declare this kitchen open" speech:)

Well the curtain is coming down before the cooker arrives 9th of June that's for sure. :rotfl:

Don't think a kitchen can be declared open without one. :o

Have you cleared your cookies etc, so it looks like you have not been looking at prices before, have been told the more you look they can start to go up.

Yeah. (Well no, but I also use my phone to check the prices so a different IP addy)

I'm not convinced how much difference it makes to be honest tried it a few times before I booked my holiday. I did find it dropped after I had looked a few times after clearing but that could be because it was a Tuesday :rotfl:

CCJ it might not feel it right now but things will improve again just like they did last year. Just hang in there. Always an ear to listen here.

How are you LS.....bet your head is all over the place:o

I'm actually ok TM. Don't get me wrong, I've had some inconsolable crying moments today, and I'm sure I will for some time to come, but I'm really trying to focus on the happy memories rather than being sad. I'm so very grateful for my visit on Wednesday.

Tomorrow I have a nice distraction, going to the zoo for breakfast with the big cats. Was bought for daughter and her boyfriend for Christmas, but obviously they split up, so mum gets to go instead.:)
