Wish there was something like camelcamel for UK cruise prices, would make life so much easier.

I can't believe I can run TS:) Every time I go out now I go a little further. I went out with a friend this morning and we walked and jogged but I could have done the whole length of the seafront. It's great feeling the wind on your face.

Another friend who I go running with on a Saturday has signed up for a 10 K run in July. And I know she will do it:T I'm just trying not to overdo it as my joints ache.

I'm so pleased your kitchen is all coming together. Won't be too long now:)

I'm going to have to give it a go I think. That was what they told the lady to do run then walk a bit, I started a training program last year with Mr TS but I gave up. :o He puts me to shame how fit he is.

I will be so glad when the curtain finally comes down between the hall and kitchen it has been totally out of bounds all this time from the rest of the house. :rotfl:

Hornetgirl I read your post earlier about the price of the house near you, DD1 and her BF went to look at a 2 bed rabbit hutch yesterday £265,000.

It was far too small with a little one. The second bedroom was 6'6 x 6'6 and it had 2 doors to it one from lounge and one into shower room that was between the 2 bedrooms. This bedroom had nothing in it either so it was difficult to imagine anything fitting in.

The lounge had front door, archway to kitchen and the 2 bedroom doors in it so no room for a decent sized sofa or anything else for that matter. It's such a shame everything seems to be just out their reach that is suitable. :(

School catchment is also a problem as some slightly cheaper flats have come up but the school there is OFSTED inadequate. And it is too far from the stations for her BF. At the moment it is a 5 minute walk to the school. Luckily they have a very nice landlord but it would be much better if they were buying their own as their outgoings would be less.
It's crazy isn't it. I don't know how couples starting out afford anything in the south east (or South of France) these days.

I think you should have a ribbon cutting ceremony and " I declare this kitchen open" speech:)

Have you cleared your cookies etc, so it looks like you have not been looking at prices before, have been told the more you look they can start to go up.
