I need help from HolibagsExtra experts please
We're going on a holiday soon :j and I've been looking at airport parking. I've found another site offering the exact same car park, for the same dates/times, with the same transfers and it's £2 cheaper than HE :money:
On the face of it I'm pretty sure I'll qualify for a full refund under their "free if" guarantee but the missus is worried because they only refund after your return. She's scared they pick out some minute detail that I've missed and decide it's not a like for like deal and we end up forking out the full amount
So my question is: when you phone up within 24 hours of booking and request a full refund based on finding a cheaper price, do they confirm to you there and then that they agree what you have found is like for like?

Edit: HE have a £9.50 cancellation charge, the cheaper company doesn't. They're not comparable then.Arrrghhh :mad:
As long as the hotel and parking are exactly the same, I would book it with HE. If you pay the small cancellation charge with HE (its £2.45 or £2.95...cant remember), then IF, they say your booking is not exactly the same, you can then cancel with HE, and all you would have lost is less then £3.
I always fill in the claim form, rather than phone. They send you an acknowledgement email saying they have received your claim, then you get your 'results' within 48 hours. I have to say they are brilliant, and I have not had any problems with my claims at all.
I have never checked the comparable companys cancellation charge, so wonder if you are looking a little too deeply?

edit...to add, just make sure your screenshot shows all the relevant info..dates, hotel name etc..Oh and the refund usually goes into your bank/account whilst you are on your holiday...that has been my experience.Keep Moving 2018 challenge.
