    Evening Peeps,

a few rtc items in my ex netto today, on normal shelves.
Lucozade Energy 6 pack Tropical £1. (fizzy)
Robinsons Cordial Toffee Apple Flavour! 25p.
    Vimto Squeezy 50p.
Lots of others, waters, energy drinks etc, worth a look.

Also Wells Banana Bread Beer, bottles, 5.2% 65p.
Think there has been other bottles reduced as well, but no stock in my little store.

    HTH

    Off for a catch up....

Interesting - some of these items are the same as the ones that have been RTC in M - although not as good prices there yet (unless they've totally cleared out of the Ms I've been to and gone to even cheaper without me knowing). Might be worth watching if other supermarkets put items onto RTC as the manufacturers are it seems discontinuing some lines. Which usually means that a new version (half or more of the time, one that is lower volume etc.) will never ever be as good in price as the old one (until the 'new' one itself gets discontinued in x number of years' time).

Good morning all, lovely sunny day out there :D

Slightly annoyed, tomorrow is meant to be a brilliant day but we have to spend it travelling down to the outlaws and back, really could have timed that better. Would have been nice to have a barbecue.

It!s not C4rling! It's 30% off a NowTV Sky Sports Pass, 3 for £15 NowTV Sky Movies Pass and 25% off pub meals ... but it's definitely not C4rling!

    aau,
As long as the hotel and parking are exactly the same, I would book it with HE. If you pay the small cancellation charge with HE (its £2.45 or £2.95...cant remember), then IF, they say your booking is not exactly the same, you can then cancel with HE, and all you would have lost is less then £3.
I always fill in the claim form, rather than phone. They send you an acknowledgement email saying they have received your claim, then you get your 'results' within 48 hours. I have to say they are brilliant, and I have not had any problems with my claims at all.
I have never checked the comparable companys cancellation charge, so wonder if you are looking a little too deeply?

edit...to add, just make sure your screenshot shows all the relevant info..dates, hotel name etc..Oh and the refund usually goes into your bank/account whilst you are on your holiday...that has been my experience.

Thanks, you might be right but I'm a stickler for detail :rotfl:

I've found a few online reports of failed claims but that was people who booked something that could be cancelled and were claiming against something that couldn't be cancelled (or vice versa). The cancellation fee itself doesn't seem to enter into it at any point, just the ability to cancel or not seems to matter so I might be onto a winner :j

I mainly wanted to know that they'd confirm they would refund us before we used their service. From what I've since found they seem to reply to claims between 24/48 hours after submission so I can book, claim, wait for their reply and I'll still have time to cancel if they say "nay" (and in that case it's cheaper to use a taxi/uber both ways than pay for any parking)

The cancellation protection is just £1.49 so I'll roll the dice on this one .

I'll let you all know how it goes so that you're not losing any sleep over it :rotfl:
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
