morning all, you`ll love it.:D.it is a bit of a building site at mo because of the new stand being built.i was v.upset last time as my favourite chippy was closed,:rotfl:if you are there early have a drink in the park pub opposite the kop. its amazing but you need to be there early as its tiny and big queues form to get in,word of warning its not for the claustrophobic.:Dwe have a shopping/drinking day planned for the 19th in lpool so i`m hoping we have won the night before.:).have a great time
Thanks for tips bargainqueen, really looking forward to it as I've wanted to go for ages:) There's only one problem though DD's GF is a massive Chelsea fan & I assume we will be in the away fans area so I will have to keep quiet so that I don't get lynched :rotfl:

If you don't have room for a few slices of bananas, you need to up your Tetris game :p

I took some turkey mince out earlier _pale__pale_ and lifted out a big bag of French beans so I could reach it. I then tried to put the bag of beans back in and it wouldn't fit.

As my Tesco is now rubbish for whoopsies I resorted to farmfoods for a big shop (for me anyway spending £22) after coupon and cashback using my tsb contactless. Here are some of my good buys which I hope will help others

    Milk 2 x 2 litres £1
    7.5 kg potatoes 2.99
    Onions 5 kg £1.50
    72 weetabix 3.99
kiora orange squash 2 litres 99p
    nice cream biscuits 29p
    jamaica ginger cake 49p
    buttery spread 1kg 99p
6 cornetto style ice creams 99p
    heinz beetroot 710g 59p
    long life orange/apple juice/cranberry 2 for £1.00
crisp and dry rapeseed oil 1 litre 99p
    peas 900g 3 for £2

I did not have any trouble spending the £25 whereas in other smarkets I really struggle. You really need to know your prices when shopping in there but I do not feel there are any real rip off prices like in the major 4. hth others with a farmfoods store.

    I shopped here today, Nescaf! 200g for £2.59 :)

Popped into Farmfoods, as I realised all my Christmas cheese stash had gone.
    Mature Cheddar 1kg packs £3.99.
    Butter 49p per pack.
Some great offers in there at the moment, may do a muggle shop next week using one of their coupons.

Butter is both salted and unsalted at 49p each.

TM I did get the butter in farmfoods both salted and unsalted, they are 227g pack rather than the usual250g but only 49p each,I only use butter, really don't like any spreads:)

    Evening All :)

What a lovely day its been. Still warm this evening. Great not to be bundled up in coats. Actually dusted down my sandals for the first time this year.

I have a confession to make........

Home Bargains opened in my town on 23rd April and I only found out today!! Can't wait to go and have a looksie.
