Do go & visit the dragon under Cinderella's castle. Facing the castle look to the left & there is a path under the castle into the dragon's lair.
It moves & roars & is brilliant

I had forgotten about the dragon :) You will have a great time!

I'm sure you have had lots of advice and tips from here......one place we always have to visit is Celebration. (Walt Disney's version of an American town). if you have a hire car, it is a nice drive out in the evening for a walk around the lake, (totally accessible), and a burger at the Diner. We had Xmas dinner at the Celebration Hotel one year when we had money :o

Cape Canaveral is one of the stops on our mini cruise in the summer, I would go to Disney for the day, but I think DH will win with Kennedy Space Centre yet again!

    Love HE x

bubbs I can understand where she is coming from, she feels that all you did during his last few months and since has been a strain on you. Of course it has been a strain but a strain that we carry on with because of the 'sisters' link. Just because we have our own lives doesn't mean we don't want to help out anymore.

I think a sit down with her and a cuppa and a goid old heart to heart, tears and all will maybe get through to her. In time she will be able to handle all of this on her own but that time isn't now, it's further down the road. Little by little she will take the reins and not really notice.

I hope that you manage to get through to her and she understands that you and dh will be there to help her :)

    And on that note

TM , I'm now doing a vanishing trick :rotfl: whoosh, I'm gone :). See you maybe tomorrow X
Thanks, she knows i will help her, the trouble is she cant leave anything , everything has to be done, she has been lumping firewood about today changing it round to make it easier, but she knows dh would have done it
I am seeing her weds, as thats the time we can get together with her being at work and taking the dog back to the vets on tues
    Thank you TM. :A

Oh bless her. I guess she'll be like that for a while, it will seem like one step forward and two steps back. Can she maybe get a gardener in to help with the garden or something?
Yes i know, she does have a gardener for the front but not the back which in my eyes is crackers as the back is bigger, but then the chickens, pond, dog kennels and the Aviary  take up alot of room

It's all about adjusting bubbs. I think you really fight to keep the status quo by keeping everything as it was, because you don't want to lose the attachment to your loved one.
My friend struggled for years with a pond....cleaning filters, fretting when the fish died etc but over time she has made some changes. The pond has now gone, she has paved over a lot of the garden as it was so big so there's now less to maintain.......it's taken a long time bubbs but now she has more freedom to do what she wants to do.
It's very early days for your sis though:o

Yes very early days but she is changing some things, lke the wood and the bins , it was a struggle for her to get the bins out but they were there as they live in the country and *** said you shoudnt be able to see them, but i said he would also not want you struggling, she is not like me big and robust:rotfl: she is a little dainty dot:D

Thankyou everyone, because it has upset me

Must admit though.....it's nice having "in date " food in the fridge:rotfl:

The chicken to the right of the photo is what I took out of the freezer earlier. Just had it with the Asda roasted veg in the oven sprinkled with BBQ glaze:)

I gave up on the woopsies today. People are so rude!

However, did a circuit of Farm Foods, Boots, ASDA and Coop. A few coupons, freebies, and the odd few reduced items and the fridge is full. :) Time to dish up the dinner thanks to Coop meal deal, coupons and NUS Alumni card discount! :j

Oh bubbs now you have set me off. :o

It is such early days for your sister. My mum got a gardener after she lost my dad, she still did a bit of gardening but it took the worry of getting it all done with everything else. I think she learnt with time to ask for help but it didn't come easy, she was a dainty dot too and we had to tell her off a few times. :A

    Afternoon paw sniffers:D

Well I did my trip to M&S to test out whether the 10% off came off as well as the 20% on my picks with sparks. I was hoping that the full percentage came off before multis.

I bought the deli deal which is pretty good value for a tenner. Four deli items for a tenner and a bottle of wine. There were packs of ham, beef, chicken, chicken drumsticks, posh sausages rolls and quiche and lots more....olives etc.

Then topped it up with posh cereal and kippers to get my 20% off.

Got to the till and realised that the 10% off finished yesterday:o

    So I'm no further forward:rotfl:

Still the fridge looks a lot happier with some lovely picky food and I still got my 10% off my Marksies gift card (deal through work:))

The 20% off your picks would have come off along with the extra 10% TM. Know it doesn't help now, but you'll know for next time if they do it again:o

Edit, I'm not sure about the multis actually, sorry I read your post wrong.

    Good glad you are :D
Not very well, its all just come out on the phone:( she was sobbing :(
I said why have you not said anything? she said nothing you can do to change it, she also feels over whelmed with what she has to do, so much with the garden one of the dogs just had an op, loads to sort out and ontop of that the taps leaking:o i said well you know dh will come and sort it so why didnt you ask?
I speak to her everyday if i dont see her , she said everyone has there own lives, yes we do but we also want to help and do what we can
Bet you wish you hadnt of asked now

Ah bless you bubbs ...it is also hard for you as her sister to see her struggling ...TM hit it on the nail with what she said and having been in that position myself I can understand where she is coming from ...you want to be able to cope and not be a bother to other people but when things go wrong you get frustrated cause your beloved man is not there to fix it ..that is usually when the tears flow ...It will take time bubbs and even now after 18 years I still get frustrated when I can't do something and hate asking for help...all you can do is be there when she needs you .
