Personally I can't see how they make money. I can imagine it shutting down within months. the only people who pay will be people who plan on gaining more back than they spend, the rest of us are just looking for free £££. How is it making money?
I've seen one sponsored challenge from speedo and I guess they are hoping that gyms will pay to join to get registering points for the app. But it registers location activity pretty well without it.
I've been registered at 2 gyms just by parking nearby.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. dave 3 different trees. Gonna photograph the 'naked' tree in full leaf then in autumnal colour. Not sure what type of tree it is yet, leaf are just about to emerge. Unless some clever clogs can identify it by shape and branch structure?
Lived down here nearly 2 years, searched all the local farm shops every spring for goose eggs but nonYesterday went to Thirsk and found a shop selling them
£1.50 each  I'm use to paying 70p. Bit far to go but I'll enjoy the few that I bought
Anyone use bounts? Paid for walking. i'm just on the free version but have £30 quids worth to cash out. Sure there use to be options for £25 gift cards but they seem to have disappeared and loads of £5 onesand some out of stock..
I love Thirsk Westie.....in fact I love all the North Yorkshire market towns. I think I can picture the shop where you bought your eggs:cool:To do is to be. Rousseau

bubbs I can understand where she is coming from, she feels that all you did during his last few months and since has been a strain on you. Of course it has been a strain but a strain that we carry on with because of the 'sisters' link. Just because we have our own lives doesn't mean we don't want to help out anymore.
I think a sit down with her and a cuppa and a goid old heart to heart, tears and all will maybe get through to her. In time she will be able to handle all of this on her own but that time isn't now, it's further down the road. Little by little she will take the reins and not really notice.
I hope that you manage to get through to her and she understands that you and dh will be there to help her
And on that note
TM , I'm now doing a vanishing trick :rotfl: whoosh, I'm gone. See you maybe tomorrow X
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

AJ.......if you are on here too much, I think we should start bullying you to get off and rest those eyes:rotfl:
VT...I don't think your posts could ever offend me:A we were awoken at the crack of dawn by the noisiest seagulls ever. There used to be a saying that if the seagulls come inland then there's a storm at sea....clearly there wasn't but so unusual to hear then like that.
Thank you TM. :AGood glad you are

Oh bless her. I guess she'll be like that for a while, it will seem like one step forward and two steps back. Can she maybe get a gardener in to help with the garden or something?0 -

You jammy booger, M&S and whoopsies in one day. :rotfl:
I need cheap chicken, having to pay full price at the moment for the lean thing DD2 is doing.
I got some hot tasty thighs from the deli but they will be cold by dinner time. They weren't reduced that much either about half price but seeing as we have no oven. Still full price whole chickens at 3.30pm I guess people rush in last minute.0 -

It's all about adjusting bubbs. I think you really fight to keep the status quo by keeping everything as it was, because you don't want to lose the attachment to your loved one.
My friend struggled for years with a pond....cleaning filters, fretting when the fish died etc but over time she has made some changes. The pond has now gone, she has paved over a lot of the garden as it was so big so there's now less to maintain.......it's taken a long time bubbs but now she has more freedom to do what she wants to do.
It's very early days for your sis though:oTo do is to be. Rousseau
