NL, you're quite right, I've been doing lots of reading and research for my hols. We decided last night that we are going to go to universal so after discounting it previously I've had to do lots of reading, you tubing and hunting!
My latest reading is on what Walmart sell
and what I can buy there and bring home  I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. You just got me thinking then... To when we used to holiday in France many years ago... My bring back home list consisted of laughing cow cheese spread, bahlsen biscuits and milka chocolate from the hypermarche near the ferry port... So readily available in most supermarkets now but weren't back in the late 80's early 90's.0

Qoc....Popcorn is the new crisps/chips over there too and there are some very weird and wonderful flavours you can get either as a sprinkles to go over freshly made popcorn or an oil to put into the pan when cooking...coconut was quite nice but plenty of others...didnt dare try or buy it but beer flavour was one we saw quite often
have a look in the wine aisles too....about £2 will get you a reasonable bottle of something usually californian and thats always handy to have in your room !!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
