I had an indesit many years ago, they were cheap back then but that machine lasted for years :T. I have no idea what make I'm going to get this time but I like a real good spin speed, a large drum and one that does either a quick wash or half load or both :rotfl: :rotfl: I set my criteria and see what comes up.
Reason for large drum? Sleeping bags after music fests :rotfl:
I bought a candy, aka Hoover I believe, it's an 8kg one as we have a super king bed and the bedding is big/heavy it has a 1500rpm spin but the wash programmes are long, whites is near three hours there is a choice of short programmes but the 44 min one only spins at 1000 so I then respin at 1500 and the clothes are quicker to dry, I am quite impressed, so sad when a washing machine makes you happy:o:DThe person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0 -
Quite funny, last food thing we brought back from France was cous cous, it was a lot cheaper there then, that was when we got some 50p wine over there, wished we had bought more because it was lovely! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I bought a Hotpoint Aquarius recently, big drum, variety of spin speeds, but never though to check how long the wash cycle took!
The fastest is over 2 hours and it drives me nuts! Have to think and put washing in the night before to stand any chance of having time to hang it out in the morning.
Now I am not the best at reading instructions so got DD to check, and it is right, at least 2 hours for the wash!:eek:essex girl in exile0 -

these come back with us every year along with the lemon and rasphberry ones as well.
I once bought back from France an industrial sized pack of fabric conditioner because it was lavender fragranced....and at the time not available here!
reminds me of the bottle of washing up liquid i brought over there violet fragrance that still lives under the sink for special occasions.:rotfl:0 -

Yes I have claimed on CS and CoS already. I may have to encourage three family members to sign up as a shame to be £7.50 out of pocket
If you look at the packaging they don't need storing in the fridge (helpful with the current run of fridge based Cashback offers and Mullers!) but allegedly taste better chilled.

Went to France mid 90s and was perplexed what to bring people so I bought Bonne Maman jams for everybody. Went to Kwiksave a few days later and they were on the shelves. :rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

My first lot were subbed with the 5 pk minus the bread. They didn't last long with the monkeys. The second lot that I bought In store are still in the fridge-the monkeys aren't that impressed...0
